Testimonial Dinner 2025

On May 19, 2025, the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) hosted a significant Testimonial Dinner at the Macavinta Hall, Sports and Wellness Center, College Building 1, recognizing the invaluable contributions of its graduating Professional Midwives and Certified Human Resource Associates. This event, attended by over 274 individuals, was a powerful testament to the collaborative spirit between KLD and the City of Dasmariñas, with prominent city officials, including Mayor Jennifer Barzaga, Hon. Elpidio Barzaga the Third, Vice Mayor-Elect Hon. Francisco A. Barzaga, and the Congressman-Elect, alongside Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, proudly sponsored the celebration. The program highlighted the profound impact these graduates will have on the community. Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, President/College Administrator, and Hon. Rudy Lara, the number one Sangguniang Panglungsod Member, delivered messages emphasizing the importance of these new professionals. The narratives shared by distinguished midwives Ms. Josephine Alcantara and Ms. Charlene Mae Ladisla, and top CHRA passers Ms. Mikaela Nicole P. Ramos and Ms. Shaina L. Quiozon, underscored their journeys of dedication and how KLD has equipped them to serve. These stories served as powerful examples of the hard work, perseverance, and strong support systems that underpin KLD's educational philosophy. The evening concluded with a heartwarming testimonial dinner, insightful closing remarks from Dr. Ernesto L. Bastida, Jr., Vice President for Research, Mission and External Affairs, and the symbolic KLD Hymn, sealing the evening with pride. Organized by the Alumni Relations and Industry Placements Unit under the Center of Mission, Linkages and External Affairs, this successful event not only celebrated individual accomplishments but also reinforced KLD's vital role in producing skilled professionals who will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing progress and well-being of the City of Dasmariñas.
